.. born in Japan in 1973, educated and working for some years as a professional architect, 

I started pipe making in 2005 as a hobby.

In 2007 I came to Germany where I continued making pipes.

In 2008 I realized, that pipemaking had become my true compassion and made it a profession.

Thanks to critique and instruction from established pipe collectors and fellow pipemakers, I could step by step develop my skills.

I enjoy the freedom to work with briar and give shapes and usefulness to it, which can be enjoyable for other people.
